JOY SHEFTER has been seen on-camera nationally on such shows as “Extra,” Leeza,” “The HOME Show” (ABC-TV), “ The Carol Duvall Show”, as well as numerous appearances on “Home and Garden Television”, and a number of infomercials.Behind the camera she worked on multiple TV shows such as "Carolyn and Marilyn", Platypus Man, "Almost Perfect", The Susan Powter Show, Matt and Matty, ABC Television various productions, Woody Fraser Prod., Weller Grossman Prod., as well as with Time-Life Books, William Morrow Publishing, Lisa Ekus Public Relations, and more. She styles for film, television and print and is equally efficient and skilled for all media. Such talent as Wolfgang Puck, Julia Child, “Two hot Tamales”, Paul Prudhomme, Graham Kerr, Mark Miller, Mr. Food, Curtis Aikens, Mrs. (Debbie) Fields, Joan Nathan, and Sheila Lukin and others have all worked with Joy, food stylist & Chef, as well as many entertainment and sports personalities. 

She started her career with her own catering business, later serving as  Executive Director of Food and Beverage for Paramount Pictures.
